Letter from the Churchwardens

April 2017

A very big thank you to everyone involved with our church here at St Botolph's. During the past eight months of our vacancy, our task of keeping everything running smoothly has been made much easier with your support and encouragement.

The support from your ministry team, and the priests who have helped with all our services, have enabled us to ensure that every aspect of the various services along with weddings, baptisms and funerals have been maintained very professionally.

We look forward now to the ministry of Revd Jackie. We are sure that she will be encouraged by your warm welcome and support as she leads us into the next stage in our life here at St Botolph's.

Finally our hopes regarding the re-ordering of the church have been put on temporary hold. On the 21st March the Victorian Society notified the Diocesan Registry Clerk that they are seeking leave to appeal the Chancellor's Judgement within the 21 days allocated. We pray that it's just a temporary delay.
